Services
Regular Services at St Oswald, Winwick are held at the following times:
Morning Communion - every Sunday at 8.00am, Book of Common Prayer
Morning Service - every Sunday at 10.00am, Common Worship, family service.
Morning Service on the 1st Sunday of each month will be a less formal and shortened 'family affair' in which the children will be able to participate.
Evening Service - 1st Sunday of each Month at 6.30pm, Details confirmed in the Monthly Parish Magazine.
Tuesdays and Fridays - Morning Prayer at 8.15 in the Chancel.
Tuesday Evening Service - Holy Communion 8pm Common Worship
Thursday Morning - Holy Communion 10am Common Worship
Repairs to the Nave roof of the Church have revealed serious structural problems and, until further notice, the regular Sunday morning service will be held in the Church Hall. All other services are continuing and are held in either the Church Chancel or the Hall as the work allows. The Childrens' Sunday Club (held at the same time as the morning service) has moved to the School except on the 1st Sunday in each month when the 10.00am service will be a less formal and shortened 'family affair' in which the children will be able to participate.
